1. Identification of plastic product mark
Most of the regular manufacturers of plastic products will indicate the ingredients of raw materials or the letters written in the quotation on the products or on the product packaging.
Whether it is a pure plastic container or a food packaging container, the recycling mark is usually printed on the container, and the number 1-7 is marked in the middle of the triangle, and the abbreviation of the raw material is also indicated.
Triangle bid "1" indicates that the raw material is polyester (PET);

"3" means PVC;
"4" means low density polyethylene (LDPE);
"5" indicates that the raw material is polypropylene (PP);
"6" means polystyrene (PS);
"7" indicates that the raw material is plastics other than 1 to 6 categories. Among these plastics, polycarbonate (PC) is the most widely used in food.
2. Sensory recognition of harmful plastic products

According to the different characteristics of various plastic bottles, plastic bottle manufacturers usually divide plastic bottles into three types: general plastic bottles, engineering plastic bottles and special plastic bottles.

The general plastic bottle generally refers to the plastic with large output, wide use, good formability and low price. There are five kinds of raw materials for general plastic bottles, namely polyethylene and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymers (ABS). They are all thermoplastic. Engineering plastic bottle generally refers to the plastic that can bear certain external force, has good mechanical properties, high and low temperature resistance, good dimensional stability, and can be used as engineering structure, such as polyamide, polysulfone, etc. In engineering plastics, it is divided into general engineering plastics and special engineering plastics. General engineering plastics include: polyamide, POM, polycarbonate, modified polyphenylene ether, thermoplastic polyester, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, methylpentene polymer, vinyl alcohol copolymer, etc. Special engineering plastics can also be divided into crosslinking type and non crosslinking type. The crosslinking types are: polyamine bismaleamide, polytriazine, crosslinked polyimide, heat-resistant epoxy tree finger, etc. Non crosslinking types include polysulfone, polyethersulfone, polyphenylene sulfide, polyimide, peek, etc. Special plastic bottle generally refers to the plastic with special functions, which can be used in aerospace and other special applications. For example, fluoroplastics and organosilicon have outstanding special functions such as high temperature resistance, self lubrication and so on. Reinforced plastics and foam plastics have high strength, high cushioning and other special properties. These plastics belong to the category of special plastics.

1 stands for pet (polyethylene terephthalate). The general mineral water, carbonated beverage and functional beverage bottles are made of this material. In high temperature weather, do not put mineral water in the open air or in the car, or directly pour boiling water into coke bottles;
2 stands for HDPE (high density polyethylene). The plastic bags widely used in supermarkets and shopping malls used this material, which is relatively heat-resistant, but not easy to clean and easy to breed bacteria;
3 stands for PVC (polyvinyl chloride), in which plasticizers contain harmful substances, which are easy to precipitate when encountering high temperature and grease. At present, many plasticizers have been banned in Europe, and few plastic products are used for packaging food in China.
4 represents LDPE (low density polyethylene). At present, most of the fresh-keeping films and plastic films on the market are made of this material, which is not strong in heat resistance. When the temperature of qualified PE fresh-keeping films exceeds 110 ℃, hot melting will occur. Wrap the food with the fresh-keeping films and heat it, and the oil in the food will easily dissolve the harmful substances in the fresh-keeping films.
5 stands for PP (polypropylene). The microwave oven lunch box is made of this material, which is resistant to 130 ℃ high temperature and poor transparency. Some lunch boxes are made of PP, while the box cover is made of PS (polystyrene). PS has good transparency but not high temperature resistance, so it cannot be put into the microwave oven together with the box body.
6 stands for PS (polystyrene), which is the material used to make bowl packed foam noodle boxes and foam fast food boxes. It is heat-resistant and cold resistant, but it can not be put into the microwave oven. Try to avoid using fast food boxes to pack hot food.
7 stands for other categories. The plastic used to make milk bottles and space cups should not be used to hold boiled water.

PET-1: polyethylene terephthalate, commonly used in mineral water bottles and beverage bottles (carbonates), is easy to deform when the temperature exceeds 70 ℃, and DEHP may be released after 10 months of use.

HDPE-2: high density polyethylene, commonly used in shampoo, bath gel containers, and white medicine bottles, not recommended for other uses (especially water).

PVC-3: PVC, commonly used in plastic film, building materials (profiles, pipes), etc., heat-resistant 80 ℃, do not use as food packaging, do not reuse.

PE-4（LDPE-4）: Polyethylene (low-density polyethylene), which is commonly used for fresh-keeping film and similar plastic film. Avoid high temperature when using. Food covered with fresh-keeping film shall be removed and put into microwave oven.

PP-5: polypropylene, commonly used in microwave lunch boxes and juice beverage bottles, has good heat resistance, does not deform when the temperature is over 100 ℃, and has a melting point of over 160 ℃. It is the only plastic that can be put into microwave oven for heating, and can be reused. Pay attention to some microwave boxes. The boxes are made of PP, but the box covers are made of PE. Please be careful when using them.

PS-6: polystyrene (not Photoshop CS6), commonly used in fast-food boxes and instant noodles boxes, with general heat resistance (about 80 ℃), it is recommended to only be used once to avoid contact with acid-base solution, and the temperature should not be too high.

PC-7 refers to "other kinds of plastics", which are commonly used in space cups, kettles, etc. if it is a qualified product (bisphenol A is completely converted into plastic in the production process) produced by a regular manufacturer, it can be used at ease, but it is better not to use it for heating, usually avoid ultraviolet radiation, and it is recommended to replace it if there is damage or aging phenomenon.
